Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

AeroNexus ("we", "our", "us") develops aviation software including AeroHour, AeroPax, AeroOps, AeroFleet Log, AeroExaminer, AeroVigil, and AeroPerf (collectively, the "AeroNexus Suite"). We are based in Sydney, Australia. This privacy policy applies to all applications in the AeroNexus Suite.

2. What Data We Collect

When you use any AeroNexus application, we collect the following information that you provide:

• Account data: Email address, name, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Profile data: Pilot credentials including aviation reference number (ARN), licence type, regulatory authority, and medical certificate expiry.
• Flight data: Flight records you enter including dates, aircraft, routes, flight times, and associated crew members.
• Aircraft data: Aircraft registrations, types, and categories you add to the system.
• Operational data: Data you enter into other AeroNexus applications, such as safety reports (AeroVigil), performance calculations (AeroPerf), fleet records (AeroFleet Log), student records (AeroOps), and examination records (AeroExaminer).

We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, location data (unless you choose to tag a flight), browsing history, contacts, or any data from other apps on your device.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the AeroNexus services:

• Storing and displaying your flight records and operational data
• Calculating currency and recency requirements
• Enabling mutual flight verification with other pilots
• Generating flight time summaries, totals, and reports
• Account authentication and security

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not perform behavioural analytics or profiling.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Australia (ap-southeast-2 region). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Database access is protected by row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data.

5. Data Sharing

Your data is private by default. The only circumstance where limited data is shared with another user is when you send a flight verification request — the recipient sees only the flight details relevant to that specific shared flight. Organisational features (AeroOps, AeroVigil, AeroFleet Log) may share data within your organisation as configured by your organisation administrator.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data we hold about you (visible in-app).
• Export: Export your records at any time (CSV export).
• Correction: Edit or correct any of your data within the app.
• Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. Flight verification records linked to other users are anonymised upon account deletion.

8. Children

AeroNexus applications are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Student pilots under 16 should have a parent or guardian manage their account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of any AeroNexus application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
